There are all sorts of new streaming subscriptions out on the market, aimed at helping you ditch the crazy prices that cable companies impose on you. If you have multiple streaming subscriptions, that can still get quite pricey and might be something that you want to work on reducing. The only problem is, you don’t want to sacrifice the content. But, the good news is that you don’t have to, as there are plenty of free movies apps that you’ll still have access to.
So if you’re ready to say goodbye to some of your subscriptions, we’re showing you the best free movies apps you can download on your Galaxy S10 below.
Pluto TV
Coming up first, we’re taking a look at Pluto TV — Pluto TV is easily one of the top ways that you can watch thousands of on-demand TV shows and movies. Not only will you find new TV shows on here, but you’ll see plenty of oldies as well.
Pluto TV really is a free movie app, not even requiring a credit card or billing information for you to sign-up. Download Pluto TV on your Galaxy S10, and you’ll be able to start streaming free TV without a problem. You can even “cast” content straight to your TV for watching on the big screen.
You can even watch free local TV on Pluto, but you will have to be in an area supported by Pluto TV. Right now, Pluto TV only has a couple of locations available for free local TV streaming.

Tubi TV
Coming up next, we have something called Tubi TV. Tubi TV allows users to download the app for free off of the Google Play Store. Or, you can visit their website. Either way, you’ll have to create an account to watch content; however, Tubu TV does not ask for subscription fees or even credit card information.
Once your account is created, you have thousands of movies and TV shows available to watch for free, and right from your finger tips. It’s also worth noting that there’s a large variety of content always being added to the Tubi TV platform, which means you’ll always have fresh and exciting content to enjoy.

Viewster
Next up, we have Viewster. Viewster is a little different than the rest on our countdown, with it primarily focusing on anime movies and TV shows. You’ll be able to watch free anime-based movie and TV shows for free, and you actually don’t even have to sign-up for a free account.
Viewster actually has a news feed style, which makes it a whole lot easier to discover and find content in their database.

Netflix
You might be surprised to see this one on our list, but believe it or not, sometimes you don’t have to pay a dime for Netflix. There are actually a couple of ways to go about this — you can take advantage of 1-month free trials, creating an account whenever you need a new free trial.
The other way that you can obtain Netflix for free is by talking with your phone carrier. Most phone carriers offer promotions and offers these days, and some even throw in 12-months of Netflix for free. It might require the purchase of a new phone or line, but if you’re planning on buying one anyway, it’s worth it.

Popcornflix
Popcornflix might come up as third on our countdown, but it’s still an excellent way to start watching your favorite movies and TV shows for free. You can get Popcornflix from the Google Play Store or access their website. Once you download, you’ll have to create an account, but much like Tubi TV, there are no subscription fees or credit card information. You can start watching your favorite content almost immediately.
Of course, like most things, you do get what you paid for. That said, the one “con” to Popcornflix, and that is that the video quality just isn’t that great. It’s essentially DVD quality, so you won’t be seeing much even in HD quality.

Crackle
Crackle is fourth up on our countdown. This is easily one of the more reliable options on our list, as it’s developed by Sony in order to compete with the likes of Netflix and others. That said, since Crackle isn’t very well known, Sony is allowing consumers to watch their content for free.
While Crackle is trying to compete with Netflix, they just don’t have the library and variety of content that Netflix does. So you’ll still be able to use Crackle to watch some great content, you just won’t have as vast of a library as the big players out there; however, you still will be able to catch shows like Seinfeld and movies like Annabelle or The Karate Kid. There’s plenty more to choose from, but that’s just a small taste at what you’re looking at.
Crackle does tend to rotate content in and out, so you might see new contnet over time, as well as content that disappears.

Yidio
Coming up as last on our countdown, but certainly not least, we have Yidio. Yidio is another great way to stream movies and TV shows for free; however, like some of the others, you will have to create an account to watch content. Yidio has access to millions of titles, so you’ll be certain to find something that you want to watch on your Galaxy S10!

Verdict
So if you don’t want to pay for content anymore, as you can see, you have a ton of options. We do have to say that your best option here is easily Netflix; however, if you don’t want to play the free trial games or mess around with promotions, Tubi TV and Crackle are likely your next best bets.
